How much are your cakes?
Because all of our cakes and cupcake cakes are priced individually by the complexity of their design, we do not have a standard price list. For base pricing you may refer to our pricing page.
How do I order a cake?
To start the order process, please send an email to cakestocrumbs@gmail.com with the following information:
– the date of your event
– the occasion/nature of your event (wedding, bat mitzvah, etc)
– the event location, delivery address, and delivery time
– how many people you will need to feed
– your daytime phone number
– your email address
– an idea of what kind of cake design you are looking forWe will contact you to to discuss your order and/or schedule an appointment.
Every cake we make is custom made to order from start to finish.
Do you take large orders?
Yes! For orders over 200 in count please give at least two weeks notice. Please call 301-580-3894 or email cakestocrumbs@gmail.com about availability.
How far in advance must I place my order?
I will always be happy to try to complete your order whenever you contact me but the more time you give me to complete your order, the more creative I can be and therefore a more superior product you will receive.
What’s your payment policy?
Payment can be made by cash or Venmo. Sorry no credit cards please.
For weddings, 50% payment is due at booking. The final payment is due 1 month prior to event.
For all other orders, 50% payment due at booking. The final payment is due 2 weeks prior to event.
No deposit paid means no order placed.
If you cancel your order, you may do so at least 10 days prior to the event but forfeit deposits.
Do you deliver?
Delivery is available for most orders. We strongly encourage delivery for any cake over two tiers, wedding cakes, and cakes that require on-site assembly.
Delivery fees begin at $75 and can be added and are determined on a case-by-case basis.
Longer deliveries are occasionally arranged, but must be determined on a case-by-case basis.
While it is generally not a problem for clients to transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk.
Where are you located?
We are a Cottage Law bakery located in North Potomac. We no longer have a store front and only take on pre-ordered custom orders.
Do you ship your cakes?
Yes! One tier cakes can be shipped! Also, we ship cupcake and cake topper decorations if you already have a cake. Prices vary depending upon order.
